"I move with grace, led by love—
never to bind, only to bless.
I am not here to change you,
but to remind you you’re already enough."

"My love is quiet but fierce—

I don't enter hearts to take,
only to heal,
only to give."

Resilient Healer, Fierce Advocate, Faithful Soul

Meet LPC-S Jennifer Leslie-VanBlarcom  a Jamaican-born, Texas-rooted therapist, supervisor, and founder of Enriching Counseling Services, PLLC. A two-time cancer survivor, deeply empathic clinician, and trauma-informed mentor, she transforms pain into purpose every day. Whether uplifting clients through culturally responsive, Christ-centered therapy, or fighting tirelessly for justice on behalf of her son, she moves with heart, fire, and faith. She's a loving wife of 21 years to a Navy veteran, a proud mother to a newly minted RN, and a woman whose story is one of unyielding grit, generational healing, and divine calling.

The Resilient Heart with a Counselor’s Soul

I am a fierce protector, a thoughtful healer, and a loving mom who makes learning fun (with video game rewards and laser tag celebrations!). I am sharp, compassionate, and always evaluating but my strength comes from a deep well of life experience. I’ve walked through fire and still make room for empathy, reflection, and growth. I champion justice, even when it’s messy, and care deeply about my family’s friends' and clients' well-being especially victories, big or small. I am not afraid to ask hard questions, challenge broken systems, or admit when joy feels out of reach. But underneath it all, there’s a flicker of hope and strength that keeps me moving forward with style, sass, and serious soul.

The Heart-Led Trailblazer

I am a woman of profound depth, healing hands, and unshakable faith. A daughter, mother, counselor, and doctoral student chasing purpose with grit and grace. I walk through pain with eyes wide open whether it’s navigating a complex mother-daughter bond, standing beside friends through cancer battles, or shouldering heartbreak with compassion. I pour love into others like my husband, my daughter, my clients, my community while rising as a resilient scholar shaping the future of trauma-informed care. A natural leader since high school (Kiwanis Queen!), I mix strength and softness like few can. Behind my thoughtful prayers and professional polish lies a spirit that won’t stop because healing isn’t just my calling, it’s my legacy in the making.
